I wasn't a talented runner. When I started, I was slow, and nothing about me looked like someone who would get fast. What changed that was a few coaches who believed I could get better and gave me a reason to keep showing up. I got faster. A lot faster. That's why I coach.
Coaching is the work, and it has my full attention. My job is to make you a better runner, and I'll do everything I can to make that happen. Today that means coaching athletes of all abilities through Myers Run Project and serving as an assistant coach at Franklin & Marshall College.
Running doesn't happen in a vacuum. You have a job, a family, and a life that doesn't pause for your training plan. Part of coaching is helping you balance all of it.
I started Myers Run Project for people who want something more from running than a post. Getting better is hard, and most of the fight is with yourself. Our athletes show up for that fight every day to become who they are.
